Installation & Upkeep
Wall Prep:
-
Check that the wall has been primed and painted for at least 30 days to allow for complete drying and outgassing. *Heavily textured and exterior walls are not recommended, lightly texture should be sanded away before painting.

Clean the wall at least twice with 70% isopropyl alcohol and 30% water on a frayless towel. Always wipe in one direction (left to right or top to bottom).
Vinyl + Placement Prep:
-
Unroll vinyl mural and lay flat for a few hours to release curl.
-
Mark out placement on wall using a tape measure, level and light pencil marks, consider the location of furniture and other artworks for ideal spacing.
Application:
-
Peel back 8" - 10" of the plastic backing for the top of the design.

Align the top of the design to the desired placement on the wall and press down.
-
Use a soft plastic squeegee to press the design onto the wall starting from the center of the expose area and working out to the edges.

Continue to peel away plastic backing 6" - 8" inches at a time and pressing from the center to the edges of the design as described above until full design is adhered to wall.

Lightly rub bubbles out as they appear. If needed, gently pull design off the wall to release bubbles, then reapply.
Care & Upkeep:
-
Avoid applying excess moisture and cleaning supplies to surface of mural.

Clean and dust with dry, lint-free cloth as needed.
Repositioning:
-
Photo Tex material can be re-positioned multiple times as long as the sticky backing stays clean and free of dust and debris. To remove, gently pull the design away from the wall and apply to a new clean wall using the method described above.
**Professional installation is recommended for designs over 5' in both width and height
