MERCANTILE LIBRARY MURAL

“The Mercantile Library Mural,” This piece was commissioned by Brickstone Properties through Philadelphia Mural Arts to honor the former site of the Mercantile Library. The Library operated between 1952 and 1989 and has been lauded as a pioneering example of early modernist architecture. Brickstone enlisted Hagopian Arts to beautify the facade of the building while construction on the interior is ongoing.
